Talk about what is around you
When you enter the forest, draw the child's attention to the changes that you feel. Ask your child what his impressions are - he will certainly notice that it has become colder and darker or more humid and stuffy. Take advantage of these observations and tell about the sun's rays, explain why it is cooler in the shade.
After the rain, when it is sultry in the forest, explain why this is happening. Why is the mulch drying more slowly and that the treetops are a barrier to free evaporation?
Observe how the vegetation changes on the border between the meadow and the forest (grass passes through the mulch, densely growing shrubs on the edge of the forest are becoming rarer, etc.). Ask your child to point out plants that are in the meadow and are no longer in the forest, and vice versa. The next time you visit the same place, check how the plants change as the seasons change.
